4 Unexpected Reasons to Go for a Massage

4 Unexpected Reasons to Go for a Massage

Many people go to massage to relax and decontract their overworked muscles from so much stress and too little/too much movement. Few know that a regular weekly massage session gives them both health, relaxation and great tone for whatever they want to achieve with increased performance.

Here are 4 benefits of massage you may not have thought of

1. Massage helps calm the mind

Many people believe that the problems that weigh them down entitle them to often raise their voice at others (with reason or without reason), and they believe they are "entitled" to do so. But this doesn't help much in resolving situations, quite the contrary!

In fact, too much stress has built up in their being over time and they no longer manage to re-balance themselves. In our experience, we have noticed that super-stressed people come to us after the massage and tell us that they have actually not been able to argue with anyone because of the state of balance and harmony inside them.

2. Massage regulates hormonal and internal organ activity

We don't know exactly all the subtle and secret mechanisms by which massage helps so much. We do know that massage of the paravertebral area also has an effect on the spinal nerves and thus helps to regulate the activity of all the internal organs because they start from the spine and go to each individual organ. But also in the general hormonal activity there is a balancing immediately after the massage.

3. Massage purifies you

Even though we sanitise ourselves, some even very meticulously on the skin (many daily showers or frequent hand washing, for example), our body also needs an internal purification to help all metabolic processes and internal organ activity to function very well. These purifications can be done in multiple ways: sauna (eliminates toxins), general detoxes (citrus cure to purify lymph, fruit diets, Christian fasting, black fasting, intermittent fasting, colon and stomach cleansing methods, etc). Massage is also a method of eliminating toxins from the muscles. Almost all types of massage, but especially lymphatic drainage massage intensely purifies the lymph, helps to eliminate toxins from the muscles and tissues.

Whichever method you choose, it's important to do it consistently from time to time to keep your body looking young and at its best, whatever your age.

4. Massage puts you back in touch with your parasympathetic nervous system

It is known that our nervous system works in 2 ways: sympathetic ("fight or flight") and parasympathetic (regeneration and balance).

The more complicated and fast-paced life gets, with 1000's of targets and goals to do, the more we need to pay attention and relax for ourselves. Time for pampering, for sensory experiences that fill us with peace and delight. Win a day of your life.

Massage activates the parasympathetic nervous system that controls the body's functions of regeneration and development of energy resources. Feel how your personal needs are recognised. You relax, store up new strength and your body feels liberated, while tension and stress disappear.

Come for a well done massage and benefit from its wonderful effects!
